Ojo Verde is kind of autobiographical. My eyes, normally grey-blue, turn green when I wear dark green. Firing my kiln has become a metaphor for life. No matter how carefully I plan the form and try to organize the color elements, somehow the firing produces unexpected results. Beautiful, but unexpected. I have learned to appreciate serendipity!
